Done completely in oils, like all of my work, Heres the next one in the "Vanity series". All inspired by Hussars work. The model is of the amazing Brandy, who is just stunning. She was nice enough to let me work from her likeness.
The next one in the vanity series will be "less Hussar". I just needed to get this out of my system. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. I love this moment so much, I want to have sex with it!
All the details are very beautiful and well-executed. My only complaint is that there's no background, but then again, that would probably distract from the fascinating subject.
There are some really great lil techniques, and details you can carry over into a new style.
Love the face by the way, the eyes and lashes are great. Any close up shots?
